SERVICES + FEES

I provide thorough and secure telehealth sessions, allowing individuals to participate in therapy from the convenience and comfort of their own home. The only requirements are a private space, a stable internet connection, and a device with video/audio capability. Sessions are conducted through SimplePractice, an encrypted, HIPAA-compliant platform.

Phone Consultation (15 min) - FREE
Initial Intake Session (60 min) - $200
Psychotherapy Session (50 min) - $180

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations must be made at least 24 business hours prior to the appointment.

Cancellations made after this deadline will result in a late cancellation fee of $75.

Missed appointments (no-shows) with no prior communication will be charged the full session fee.

INSURANCE + PAYMENT

At this time, Prose & Psyche Counseling does not accept insurance directly. You are responsible for payment, which is due at the time of service. We are happy to provide you with a superbill upon request, which you can submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Please note that coverage varies by plan. I recommend checking with your insurer for your specific benefits.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

As of January 1, 2022, under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected costs of your mental health care.

If you are uninsured or not using insurance (self-pay), I will provide you with a written estimate of fees for therapy services before your first appointment or upon request. This estimate will include anticipated costs for the services you’re seeking, based on the information available at the time.

While actual needs may evolve over time, the estimate gives you a clear understanding of potential costs. You’re also entitled to request an updated estimate at any time.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge through a federal dispute resolution process.

For more information, visit the official site: www.cms.gov/nosurprises

If you have questions or would like a copy of your Good Faith Estimate, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
